This month children’s author and illustrator David Shannon celebrates a birthday. His book NO DAVID  (along with the David series) is a big hit with children.  David is a quite the little mischievous boy who is constantly told NO by his mother. All of us can relate to those timeless childhood  phrases like “come back here” and “not in the house” that we heard from our own parents .  Did you know that he wrote that story when he was 5 yrs old? He came across it many years later and revamped it complete with illustrations. Very cool.  It is  also one of the top 100 picture books of all time! Happy Birthday David!
