Summer is all about vacation and for a teacher, vacation usually involves something educational and/or historical. I spent a few days in New England in both Massachusettes and New Hampshire and I must say it was “wicked” awesome! Both States offer a lot of American history and that early American quaint feeling. Visiting the old brick buildings where the founding fathers built America or perhaps an old fort where our freedom was once upheld is a great way to feel a part of history and even a little more patriotic. A weekend in New England is like a few days of time travel where one can feel “the spirit of America” because as John Stark said, “Live free or die.”
