Meetings, prep time and curriculum…oh my!

Well, it’s about that time of year when teachers head back to the classroom to prepare for the new school year.  They have hit up their local office supply store for the Back to School sales and are armed and ready with new pencils and glue sticks.  They will spend days putting their classroom back together, sit through school meeting after meeting, label and relabel folders, desks and cubbies.  They will plan curriculum and think of new ways to teach the same lessons. They will spend their own money on supplies and room enhancements and not even think twice. They are preparing to spend the next nine months with “their kids” and they are worth every penny.  It takes a special kind of person to be a teacher. It is not for the faint of heart.  So let’s go, teachers. We’ve got this!
