Well, I survived another year of teaching! I did not think I would make it through the last week and a half. Oy! I said goodbye to my littles and sent them on their way to a bright future somewhere other than my classroom! Peace out cub scouts! I was like a flight attendant standing by the exit of the plane saying, “Bye now, Bah bye, Bye, Goodbye”. I could not wait for them to file through. I had done all I could for them to prepare them for life in the big leagues, Kindergarten. Good luck, y’all and by that I mean, the school my littles will now be attending!
For me, it’s summer break. A glorious 7 weeks to quiet my mind, rejuvenate my soul, and enjoy the sunshine. A well deserved break, because let’s face it, teaching is hard y’all!
