All those somedays

To quote from one of my favorite movies, “Who would have ever thought that I would write?” Any guesses as to what movie this is? Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks late 90’s chick flick…. You’ve Got Mail. It’s a “must see”, y’all! That movie sort of inspired me way back when to, well, own a children’s book store one day because it looked so cute in the movie. I mean, The Shop Around the Corner, what a perfect name.

Over the years, the book shop idea turned into the write a book idea. Now all those somedays have turned in TODAY, because here I sit all these years later with a children’s book on Amazon. I mean who would have thunk it? Just goes to show you that your never too old, too busy, too anything to make it happen. Here we are at the tail end (I choose to be optimistic) of this crazy panny and we have all found a new hobby, a new skill, or a new outlook on life – whatever the case may be. The point is now is the time to discover that you have what it takes. Whether you are writing a book, starting a new business or deciding on a new career, today is your someday. As it is so eloquently put in You’ve Got Mail, “So much of what I see reminds me of what I’ve read in a book, when shouldn’t it be the other way around?”
