Feels like Fall, y’all

I have to say, here in LA (ooh look at me rhyme!) we have a bout 2.5 seasons. Spring, Summer and maybe a little bit of Winter. We notice Fall for maybe..mmm a week or two. With Today being Daylight Savings, it puts me in a very Fall mood. It gets darker earlier which puts a nice chill in the air in the evening. With this Fall feeling comes a need to cuddle up with a good book, a cup of tea and a blanket. I read a lot of books on my kindle, however, the book collector in me does like to visit the library once in a while for an actual printed book. I have a few favorite authors I always choose from and I love to revisit books I have read before, like a movie I’ve watched hundred times. Don’t get me started on all the Fall/holiday movies I love to watch as that is a post for another day. I hear you calling me, Tom hanks and Meg Ryan.

I love the Fall and Winter seasons as it gives me a chance to slow down, reflect and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. We begin to feel grateful and thankful and full of holiday cheer. In this season take a moment to take care of yourself and FALL into the color of the season, that golden hue that sort of takes over. Take a moment for those ‘golden’ moments that happen in November. So go soak up some fall, collect those books and “stay gold”.

Happy Fall Y’all!

“Autumn, the year’s last, loveliest smile.”
