Dear Teacher

The compensation sucks, I know.

Some classes are hard, I know.

The glue tops always go missing, I know.

Parent conferences are tough, I know.

There’s always that one kid, I know.

Teacher tired is real, I know.

Summer break is not enough, I know.

I also know that second to mothers, it’s the teachers in their lives that everyone remembers.
